Frederick S. Longer is a Philadelphia native who focuses his practice in the areas of Admiralty Law, Antitrust, Business Torts, Class Actions, Environmental Liability, Medical Malpractice, Products Liability and Securities.
He was admitted to the bar in 1986 and is admitted to practice before the state courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Pennsylvania; the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of New York, the U.S. District Courts for the District of Nebraska, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third, Fourth and Seventh Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Longer is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1986 where he served as Notes and Comments Editor for the University of Pittsburgh Law Review.
He is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.
