More locally, the firm has litigated in the state of Pennsylvania on behalf of communities injured by toxic lead exposure from a paint manufacturing facility and a lead battery reclamation dump site. The firm has litigated on behalf of a community that suffered injuries as a result of a failure to properly filter and chlorinate public water that was contaminated by animal waste producing the medical condition known as giardiasis. In addition, the firm represented plaintiffs in a case involving improper disposal of a toxic catalyst used in oil refining.

In Long Island, the firm litigated on behalf of a community that suffered property damage to the value of their homes because of a breach of an oil storage facility resulting in underground seepage of oil, while in West Virginia, it litigated on behalf of a community injured by an oil refining company that allowed excess pollution into the air.
